It’s All About The MUDD!
st 2nd and 3rd brought the fifth annual Jericho Festival. The Festival is held in Berlin NH at the Jericho State Park. This year the Festival had some new additions to the venue. The first addition was the factories sent the teams in and set up their displays. Polaris had one full size tractor trailer and a smaller trailer pulled by a dually. They had many ATVs and UTVs on display. It was great to see the new models they had to offer.
Yamaha showed up with their tractor trailer with a truck load of new ma-chines. They had their machines all laid out under their awning with plenty of help on hand to answer your questions.
On the north side of the park Can Am set up their display. They were located right next to the demo track. They also had a tractor trailer full of the latest and greatest Can Ams. All the test drivers kept the sales people busy through the two days they were there.
Not to be out done -Artic Cat also set up on the north side of the park with a full load of new ATVs and UTVs. It was great to see what they had to offer.
We hope the manufactures will return to this awesome event next year.
The next new addition was the ATV pull this pull was spon-sored by HK Power sports of Hooksett NH. The event was run by the New Hampshire ATV Club and its volunteers. The pull was about 100 feet on a clay track. The pull sled was owned and operated by John Parrot and family known as JP Pulling from Hyde Park VT. They put on a great show. Some of the winners were John Mc Swain, Aaron Poulin, Diane Dionne, Andy Engwer, Robbi Curtis and Ricky Beaudet all of the first place winners got trophies. The pull went well and every-one had a lot of fun.
The last new addition to the Festival was RaveX stunt show. This was a high flying, dare devil, breath holding, insane show. The high flying jumps and flips were ab-solutely nuts. This is a must see show.
The other big event is the Mud Races. This is always a crowd favorite. ATVs line up four abreast and try to beat the clock. It is a wild and wet event that keeps you want-ing more. Along with the mud race is the wreck the dress for scorned brides and grooms. This year there were three brides and one groom that de-stroyed their dresses and suits.
The festival had a number of other vendors, such as food, local deal-ers. ATV accesso-ries, NH State Fish and Game, NH Trails Bureau, NHOHVA and other displays. Along with all this there was an ATC (3 wheeler) event. Boy there were some nicely restored ATCs. The final head count was around 3,500 at-tendees. I would say fun was had by all.
Hope to see you next year. Save the Date for the 6th Annual Jericho ATV Festival July 31, August 2 & 3, 2015.
